For my India study tour I will be focussing on different types of Maps. These will include more realistic topographic maps, and more abstract linear maps. The reason I have selected maps as my focus is that it will allow me enough freedom to explore contemporary shapes while also restricting my aesthetic to ensure continuity throughout my designs.
In terms of my colour palette, I will be really exploring the contrast between warm and cold colours and how abstract shapes can create harmony between these opposite colours. Despite my palette being quite distinct, I will try to stay open minded and allow my colour palette to develop and potentially change.
